Like the Turnpike Troubadours song, I plan on reviewing this entire album, so I’m not gonna go into a whole lot of detail on the individual song. That being said, Kathleen is characterized by Van McCann’s vocal ability to switch seamlessly between the verse’s nonchalant, “couldn’t care less” feel and the chorus’s aggressive, in-your-face tone. Definitely check out the song, and stay tuned for the whole album review.
