Manila Killa is straight up one of the most melodic producers I’ve ever come across. In the course of just over a year, his material has gone from something I sneakily Shazam’d off the car next to me at a red light, to a staple of my daily soundtrack. His expansive sound palette and ability to weave melodies brings to mind the style of world-class Dj Madeon.
However, what truly draws me to Manila Killa’s style is his ability to make synthetic instruments sound so damn organic. Whatever the instrument used throughout his London Grammar – “Strong” remix is, I want to hold it in my hands and learn how to play it.
Coming off a tour with Skrillex, I sincerely doubt it’ll be long before this guy is headlining EZoo, so give him some love on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Soundcloud.
